Social & Content Apprentice (Level 3)

Location: Derby (on-site)
Contract: Full-time, 13-month apprenticeship

About the role

This apprenticeship is perfect for someone who loves social media, storytelling and creating content people actually want to watch.

You’ll focus on turning content into engaging social outputs across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts, while learning how content is scheduled, monitored and improved over time.

This is a learning-first role, designed to help you build real skills and confidence in content and social production.

What you’ll be doing

Social content creation

• Turning longer content into short-form social video

• Writing captions and supporting creative ideas

• Helping maintain a consistent posting schedule

Publishing & engagement

• Supporting the publishing of content across social platforms

• Monitoring engagement, comments and performance

• Learning how content performance is tracked and reviewed

Content distribution

• Learning how different platforms work and what performs best on each

• Supporting content repurposing and redistribution

Learning & development

• Completing a Level 3 apprenticeship in media and content production

• Developing skills in editing, platform management and digital workflows

• Receiving structured training, mentoring and feedback
